PC & Internet Penetration In Jordan - September 2004 Internet/PC penetration rates in Jordan are relatively low. Part of this low penetration rate can be attributed to the high cost of PC purchased in comparison to the average income per capita ($1,798 per capita in 2002), and the absence of dedicated financing schemes that would make PCs affordable to wide range of lower income groups.

 

PC & Internet Penetration In Jordan - September 2004. The feasibility study recommends a number of financing schemes that will impact PC/Internet Penetration rates. Due to the targeted and cross cutting nature of the recommended financing schemes, a number of different champions have been identified for each program with some champions naturally appearing across more than one program.

    ICT Consulting In Emerging Economies - January 2005 A presentation, lecture and a practical guide for setting up a consulting business in emerging economies. The lecture was delivered to a group of visiting M.Sc. level students from The University Of Manchester Institute for Development Policy & Management led by Dr. Alemayehu Molla.
